While on my long May 9, 2014 bike ride I passed through the "Blow Horn" intersection.
This folksy little intersection is ripe with legend as to why it has its name.
Sadly, it looks like something hit the old mill building or perhaps it was a problem with the hard winter. Not sure. Anyone know?

The Blow Horn intersection is part of modern day Chester County lore. The story behind it is mixed.

From the Internet: "Some say it was painted before a stop sign was posted at what was a dangerous intersection because drivers could not see the oncoming traffic beyond the bend in the road.
Others claim that a man who lived in the mill painted it so he would know to go out and greet visitors to the property."
