Dam Frozen 2
This scene greeted me at the lower viewing area. Icicles formed overnight on the railings from the splashing water.
The eagles were active and exciting to view and photograph once again this year.
However, it was also a cold start with temps in the 20s when I arrived around 8:15 this morning. It "warmed" up to the 30s,
but luckily there was no wind and it was mostly a pretty bright day.
Toes remained very chilled throughout my photo shoot.
I stayed almost four hours and enjoyed chatting with other CCCC members and other photographers.
It was very crowded with spectators as this is a very popular and prolific spot to view eagles as they migrate southward for winter.
