On Sunday, April 17th, while at breakfast, our waitress recommended that we take in the "Blessing of the Fleet". at the waterfront park in Mt. Pleasant.
What a great day! It was a gorgeous day to partake in this very local celebration to bless the shrimping boats at the beginning of a new season in the Low County.
Live music, lots of boats, great food, over 10,000 people...a very colorful local event.
Later in the day we visited Sullivan Island and saw a nice sunset from our restaurant.
