MCI traffic accident on Redondo Bch Bl at Prairie Ave


Two people remain hospitalized today in critical condition from a three-vehicle crash at an intersection in Torrance Sunday in which seven other people suffered minor injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash was reported at 5:03 p.m. at the intersection of Redondo Beach Boulevard and Prairie Avenue, said CHP Officer Krystal Carter.

"There were two people that were in critical condition," Carter said. "Seven people had minor injuries, but we don't know the details of those injuries."

Carter said the intersection remained closed at least two hours after the crash for investigation and clean-up.
