Firefighters from Torrance(CA) Fire
Department responded for the report
of a person down after falling into
a flood control channel. Firefighters
use an Ariel platform as a suspension
platform to extricate the victim, who
was immobilized and secured to a stokes
basket because of two broken legs.Below
grade rescues require frequent training
and practice communications among rescuers.
