Teleconverter Experiments

For this experiment I used my Nikkor 70-200mm f2.8 D ED VR Zoom lens. Some of the images where taken with a 2.0X Tamron teleconverter and one with the 2.0X and a 1.4X stacked behind the 70-200. I also shot these from a tripod and triggered the shutter remotely. I raised the ISO to various levels to induce noise, and I was quite happy with noise levels all the way up to ISO 1600. AT ISO 800 the noise that was induced was easily removed inside of ACR without any other post processing or use of noise filters like Noise Ninja.
