These images were taken at work this week using lighting and equipment we use for video production. I used a Chimera soft box, set-up on the subjects left, at a 45% angle to thier face, a small light above, and behind to accent the hair, another softer light with barn doors to slightly illuminate the background. I also had an assistant hold a 32" round reflector to bring some light to the shadows on the right side of everyone's face (except his own, he was caught goofing off with an umbrella in the first shot). This is the first time I have shot any portraits like this and found it to be a great experience. The D70 worked flawlessly conected to my laptop and controlled with Nikon Capture, Camera Controller.
