Taking a tour trip from El Calafate to the Park |
getting followed by Guanacos, which are related to Llamas |
 view over a waterfall |
same same, as back home ! |
here a very proud posing Guanaco |
and the first glimps over the mountains |
with a very turquoise laguna |
there was a fire that destroyed lots of forest |
next morning, the view of the peak |
oh, and btw, the Park is in Chile ! |
another stupid blue tourist standing in the way |
some people camped outside, not me though... |
felt again like the movie Lord of the Rings |
view over to the hostel, where I stayed |
and over to the Laguna Peohe |
it was a fantastic day |
with a catamaran, one can cross the lake |
another Guanaco with a view |
a Guanaco enjoying the view |
of the Los Cuernos, the Horns mountain |
enjoying a picnic at the lake |
with great views and amazing water colour |
this reminded me of Frodo walking |
into Mordor in Lord of the Rings |
there were huge areas where the trees burnt down |
due to some stupid tourists burning something |
and some curvy roads on the way |
well, had to try out my black and white skills |
and in colour with the lake |
this is the view over to Hosteria Peohe |
which can only be reached by bridge |
with amazing views over to the mountains |
they even have there little beach |
and from the hill behind the hotel |
on the island, I was sitting there |
for many hours enjoying the view |
with the green bushes and |
 with the turquoise water |
 it was just magic |
 the architecture was interesting |
 view from my room |
 and at dawn |
 it got very romantic.. |
this was 2 days later with clouds clearing |
and the place getting its magic again |
there was no wind, so the reflection |
in the water was great |
Castle in the Sky, anyone saw that movie? |
Japanese Anime movie, reminded me of it :D |
a little friend joining the view |
overlooking the other side of the lake |
with some black sandy beach |
and a Condor watching us |
it was a great day again |
watch out! A bend, does not happen that often here :D |
