Table Mtn Wildflowers

Oroville, CA

Looking from Cherokee Road across the mountain top toward the Cascades.
Wish I'd used about f/16 instead to get it all in focus. I was holding
the camera about an inch off the flower carpet and it took about 20 shots
to get this one, so I'm not too unhappy!

Great day trip if you're in the area. The show lasts a couple of weeks.
I'm planning at least one more trip up, perhaps two: one in the early
AM and one at sunset. That is, if I can get the weather to cooperate!

Great shot Al, Ive often thought how nice it would be stepping over one of the fences on the way to Yosemite or another cali destination and shooting a small collection of those oak trees in sillouette form as you have in this image. Something where the sun is setting, Maybe even throwing a little tobacco in on the shot also. Very nice image.
