Thanksgiving weekend : short visit to death valley through Lone pine. So, took the opportunity to visit Alabam Hills, a background for many wild wild west movies. Hiking through the rugged haunted landscape is fascinating, and so was the experience of watching the sun rise through the Alabama arch. Unfortunately all shots had to be hand-held at higher ISO, as the tripod mount did not make the trip (damn my absent mindedness).
