This place is seriously remote. It is a few hours to the nearest real town. Some of the locals are upset about the ongoing "renovations". I've seen some of the "fixed up" buildings and they don't remind me of a mining town in any way whatsoever, though now I regret that I didn't photograph any of them for my own memory. If you want to see Mogollon better to go sooner than later.
