The way most people get a good view of the pagodas is to climb up to a deck of a neighboring temple. This requires ascending extremely narrow,
steep, centuries-old masonry stairs barefoot. If you're going for sunrise or sunset, you'll be going up or coming down in the dark with all
your gear. The decks are usually about three feet wide and crowded with other photographers. Get the idea? It's not for sissies.
