Saisana

Born in Bangkok, and living in Laos for 2 1/2 years, my grandson opened a new world to me. Given the name Saisana by the Lao, he has known a life of adventure and discovery. He swam in waterfalls, drank coconut milk, and ate exotic fruits and vegetables. Life was simple--no TV. He had a whole village to love and nurture him. Leaving all of this was hard for him.

mom, great photos! good job. i wish there were more recent Lao photos to add...makes me sad that Saisana is not still in Laos with his friends.
