From my (first) visit in Poland 19th to 26th of july 2006. The pictures are from Gdynia, Sopot, Gdansk, Warsawa and the ferry Stena Baltica (Karlskrona - Gdynia). All captured with our family "travel camera" Canon Powershot S50. Beautiful country, friendly people, much history and culture. Quite a lot of the pictures are "snapped" on marketplaces and street-markets. I find the everyday life on this meeting-places very facinating and often go there to try to get pictures of "city-folk". I also found that Poland is a very modern country with skyscrapers and huge commercial buildings like you find everywhere in the world. I also tried to photograph the old part of Warsawa that I was told, Is rapidly disappearing due to renovation.
