The film i put in to the camera when i bought my first mirror reflex camera back in 1980, was a color negative. Soon I found that I had to use B&W if I should be able to afford to take all the pictuers I wanted. I tried to find the secrets of developing and printing late nights in the kitchen . Today, the challenge is to squeeze as much as possible out of the old (often poorly developed) negs by means of my Minolta scanner and Elements 2 to make pictures decent enough to present to you. I'am on my way. Have read about, and seen samples of use of channel mixer. My goal is to approach black and white (from todays more or less grey and black").
