My ideas from this class were to create a painting the inspires you. Nothing copied, not sketched out. Something that just develops as you paint it. I think this is my favorite type of painting. You will see variations of the same painting with perhaps a different effect or brush strokes added. It can completely change the feeling one gets when looking at the painting. These are also good for backgrounds for other paintings or adding appropriate text.
