This kitten was a challenge to do. We learned to do watercolor eyes from a video by Karen. Really a neat techique. I used the sketch effect on my Photoshop Elements instead of the one on Painter. I tried both and I could adjust the Elements one better for the effect I was after. I used the brushes suggested for the class but ended up blending out more areas for more of a glazing effect. I think my lesson in Open Painting on glazing is still dominate with my painting. So my kitten does not really look like the teachers finished painting. But I do like the effect I developed, makes me feel like she was ready to pounce on something.
