I used all of Karen's photos for this collage. I followed directions in lesson but did some things kind of my way. I croped the canvas image and face, to show what is seen here. I added a couple extra layer blending modes to wave canvas image, I never figured out what the blue layer (I think #3)gradient was or what mode was used on it. So I left it out. I had added the eye layer and changed color as in directions. I did not see directions for paper texture for horsemen, but added it much the same way as palm trees but on separate layer so I could reposition at bottom of image. I dropped layers and brought back as jpg on top of orginal canvas image, but I cheated and made a copy of one of the darker croped canvas image, so it would be the same size as droped comleted work. I positioned droped image(jpeg) as layer on top of croped canvas, applied a mask to droped image copy filled with white, used the spray brush, grainy, I think, to spry black to bring back image. I changed back and forth between black and white to add and subtract what I wanted. Added canvaa edge, droped in color chosen with droper from image.
Hope I didn't go to far off your directions in doing this project.
I will try to do a fall collage, of my own pictures based on this lesson.
