Sheboygan North scored eight runs in the first inning and held off Green Bay East 9-6 in a Fox River Classic Conference baseball game Friday.
Alex Nelson had two hits and two runs batted in and also got the win, giving up one earned run and four hits in four innings.
Kyle Hobart delivered the key hit, a two-run single in the first to give North a 3-0 lead. Hobart finished the day 2-for-4.

North (9-17), seeded fifth in its sectional, opens WIAA Division 1 regional play Tuesday at No. 4 Oshkosh North.
