In the opener, Ryan Hamm went 3-for-4 with a home run, while Ryan Eigenberger was 2-for-3 and Colin Willis 2-for-3. Hamm took the loss.

In the nightcap, Hamm and Kyle Hobart each had two hits and Willis went 1-for-1. But the highlight for North (5-5, 2-4 FRCC) came from Chinese foreign exchange student Meng Lakechen, who had never played baseball before this spring and earned his first base hit in the bottom of the seventh inning.
