Hello, I am an amateur photographer currently residing in Brown county Indiana. I am originally from Ottawa County in Northwest Ohio and relocated to Indiana via Purdue in the '80s. My current interest is in insects, primarily Odonata and Lepidoptera. I got the 'bug' for photographing insects about 5 years ago when I participated in my first NABA July 4h Butterfly Count. One of my regular haunts, Muscatatuck NWR, has many dragonflies, so it was a short hop for me from Leps to Odes. Lately, I have seen the merit of amateur run bugguide.net and have been avidly filling in whatever holes I can find in their data for Indiana.
