This is a color photo of the outlying islands off the north-western coast of the Isle of Skye.
It rained heavily that morning and the islands were entirely hidden by the rain clouds.
I stopped my car by the road at some view points and watched until the rain stopped.
The islands then started to appear, but everything was still in monochrome gray.
