The image shows the interior of St. Peter's Church in Leuven, Belgium.
It is the oldest parish church in Leuven, originally founded around 986.
The church is a pinnacle of Brabantine Gothic. The architecture is
characterized by high, vaulted ceilings and slender pillars.
The church suffered significant damage during both world wars,
including a fire in 1914.
