The Grand Beguinage of Leuven, a historic and fully restored beguinage.
The beguinage dates back to the 13th century and is now owned by KU Leuven.
It has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1998.
Today, it serves as a residential area for students, professors,
and university staff. The houses and convents are built of traditional
brick and sandstone, with the Gothic Church of St. John the Baptist
prominently displayed.
