Jičín Palace (Valdštejnský zámek) is a cultural monument in the center of Jičín.
Originally built in the 17th century, the Classicist palace became the center
of the Duchy of Friedland under the leadership of Albrecht von Wallenstein.
The palace has three interconnected courtyards and was renovated between 1624 and 1634.
Stables, a riding school, and an armory were added under Wallenstein. Today, the building
houses a regional museum, a gallery, a library, and an arts school.
