The U Dorfleru kamienica was built in 1905 by Matěj Blecha's company and designed
by architect Jiří Justich, a student of Friedrich Ohmann. The facade is a perfect
example of Art Nouveau. The decorative stucco work is by Karel Novák, and the
peacocks at the third-floor windows symbolize immortality.
