The building in the image is the headquarters of the Czech National Bank
(Česká národní banka) in Prague. It is the central bank and the financial market
regulator in the Czech Republic. The bank was established on January 1, 1993,
following the split of the State Bank of Czechoslovakia. The bank's primary goal
is to maintain price stability. The building was designed by František Roith and
built between 1935 and 1942 in the Functionalist style.
