The church pictured is St. Nicholas' Church (Kostel svatého Mikuláše) in Prague's Lesser Town.
It is the most famous Baroque church in Prague and is considered one of the most valuable
Baroque buildings north of the Alps. Construction took place between 1704 and 1755,
designed by Christoph Dientzenhofer and completed by his son, Kilian Ignaz Dientzenhofer.
The dome has an impressive diameter of 20 meters, and the interior height to the top of
the lantern is almost 57 meters, making it the highest interior in Prague.
The church is known for its unique acoustics, its organ with angel statues,
and gilded ornamentation of elaborate draperies.
