The image shows the Klausen Synagogue in Prague. is the largest in Prague's original
Jewish Quarter, was built in 1694 in the early Baroque style. The name comes from three
smaller buildings, called "klausens," built in the 16th century by Mordechai Maisel.
One of these buildings was a Talmudic school founded by Rabbi Loew.
