This is a bronze statue of a torchbearer, one of the statues adorning Svatopluk Čech Bridge
in Prague. Completed in 1908, the bridge is the shortest in Prague and the only Art Nouveau
bridge in the Czech Republic. The statues, including these torchbearers, are made of bronze
and granite. Torchbearers symbolize enlightenment and truth.
