The church is the most important religious building in Prague 7 and is centrally located
on Strossmayer Square. The building was designed in the Neo-Gothic style by architect
František Mikš and built between 1908 and 1911. The towers are modeled after the Church of Our
Lady before Týn in the Old Town. The towers hold two bells, one from 1572 and a copy of the
American Liberty Bell.
