Remains of the monumental castle of Weert, the Nijeborgh, of which the main building was largely 15th century. Within the moat are,
among other things: remains of the square wall, of two round corner towers and remains of a heavy square corner tower, on which a later house stands.
The remains of the gate still exist of the outer bailey.
