This is the "Vredeshand" (Hand of Peace), a chrome-plated sculpture in Antwerp Central Station.
The artwork was created by the Chinese-Belgian sculptor Yan Shufen. The sculpture is designed in
such a way that, depending on the point of view, it takes the shape of both a hand
(symbol of Antwerp) and a dove (symbol of friendship). It is placed on the arrival platform as
a symbolic welcome to the city for travelers
