I love this! I may try this myself if you don't mind! It would not be parking though because I park way out in the parking lot looking for space for my truck. I got a nasty door to door scrape and if I ever found That asshole (and the coward who took a pot shot at me in Utah) I would do more than take a photo. Anyway I am rigging my truck with cameras all around as an experiment. It should be easy for find an asshole in a moving violation, there are so many of them! I like how you don’t bother to fuzz out any plates! Keep up the good work!

@guest: #40 and #41 I was present when the idiots parked their cars, so at least there it is 100% certain, that they were not "forced" to park like that. Well, with #1 I cannot prove. However, if I see an idiot like that, I just dont park besides such a jerk....

It is frustrating to inconvenience yourself to be civilized and cooperate, only to have your contribution disrespected. There is a part of you that wants to key their car. Remind yourself it is their Karma. Sometimes the ones just over the line, (not sideways) had to park that way because of the way previous cars parked, like #1 and maybe #40. By the time I came back, the car that was parked just over the line was gone and I looked like the asshole, stifling my urge to key what I assumed was a jerk, forever.

I considered an asshole of the day website this morning and found this in researching. I was motivated to make an asshole of the day gallery after seeing a house with a pile of torn, half full garbage bags plus litter strewn everywhere - clearly some students had moved out and this was the landlords lame attempt at cleaning up. How about NAMING the assholes? Why not? Reminds me of a rioter in a balaclava...if you believe in it, put your mark on it...cowards!

I LOVE the title & subject matter in this gallery. As others have noted, there will always be candidates for the title. Unfortunately, many of the nominees are observed while driving because they do something stupid-unsafe-inconsiderate-whatever that is obvious to anyone else as SELFISH! When I have had opportunities to confront the idiot, I do so nicely & mention that that understand they are being 'selfish.' The response is either being ignored or a vigorous denial. Thanks for providing something to smile about this early in the day!

Sask Hunter. This reminds of a time I had parked knowing I would only be 20 or 30 seconds and some foreigner from one of the Asian countries had pulled up and parked behind me so as to completely block me from backing out, at the same time blocking people from driving on through. I waited thinking he would be right out. But No. I eventually got out of my car and moved his forward far enough so I could get out as he left his car running. Later on I was thinking that what I should have done was drive his car to the far side of the parking lot, lock the door and leave his car running and walk back to my car. You can bet I will do that next time.

EXCELLENT GALLERY!!!! I have a nice car too, but the world does not revolve around me! I've been known to park crossways behind them, completely blocking them in. When they get mad, I point out that the rules of the road OBVIOUSLY don't apply to them or the parking space and let them stew on that for a while. Keep up the good fight . . . only a few million a$$holes left to convert.

I've always thought it would be fun to buy a small junk car and squeeze in so close to these people that they can't even move their car without scraping the side of theirs or park so close they can't even get into their car. Then leave my car there forever or until the inconsiderate one has found a way to get their car out.

Oh you'll love this. Once I had parked well away from every one and when I came back to my car surprisingly no one had parked any where near me. So as I started to drive off I heard a exploding sound and glass flying around. Someone had lodged a glass bottle under my rear right tire that exploded as I drove away. I drove around the lot looking for some suspicious character but none were to be found. So whats a person to do? Buy a nice car and let it sit in the garage? People just dont have any respect any more. I like this photo collection. This would be a great idea to have a site that was exclusive to this very thing and let the explenatives fly.

oh i forgot to add, why do you think we park like that? i will answer for you just so that you don't have to use your grey matter or what ever you have inside your thick skulls "Because ASSHOLES like the ones making comments" who actually think they should dent your car just because they live some kind of misserable existance and drive some piece of shit that no one would like to be seen in. i do agree that some of these guys have gone overboard "shame on them" but maybe, just maybe one of you dingoberries put a nasty dent on their car

perhaps not a one of you has taken care of their car and had some ASSHOLE par so close to your car that they do in fact put a dent on your. usually that happens when ASSHOLES with cars that are worth less than the price of a toll passage. i dp park like that but i do it at the farthest spot so that ASSHOLES with pieces of shit cars don't ding my car just because i have a better one or because i care for it. we can co-exist just park yours in a dump and we would not have this problem :)

The ones I hate are when I take an end spot and stay as far from the next spot as possible so as not to get a door ding and some inconsiderate jerk parks partly in my slot as though I was not there. Some times I notice though that most spots today are just too small for a mid size car and larger. I just don't get why most of these spots are made to be so small and make it so difficult to in and out of your car. Anyway the people in your pic's appear to just not care where or how they park. Oh wait, some of these cars are BMW's. Ewwwww s'cuse me.

I used to drive a beat-up VW Rabbit, and I loved to squeeze in next to people who parked like that, making it impossible for them to enter the driver's door! Now that I have a 350Z, I park like these people! (not really). Thanks!
