Another view of the oil pump assembly. The pump sucks the oil from the bottom of the case, runs it thru an oil cooler, mounted next to one of the intercooler radiators, then pumps the oil thru a spray bar directly lubricating the ring & pinion and gear sets. The spring and ball in the photo is a one way check valve.
