Almost all pictures in this series have been shot from high altitude through the windows of commercial airliners without filters. The raw pictures have badly compressed histograms and need a lot of post-processing.

For truly good aerial photography that doesn't need massive post-processing, I recommend a visit to Yann Arthus-Bertand (Many thanks to PBase artist ac for the hint).

Lovely images. And you're right about the post-processing. I've shot some like this that looked totally washed out and lacking contrast on the original, but came to life after photoshop. Sometimes just using autolevels is enough!

I'm somehow addicted to your aerial views. It is natural art. It remembers me the book of Yann Artus-Bertrand : "La terre vue du ciel". I guess you know it.
