As on June 10th 1944
It was 4 days after the D DAY.
1000 inhabitants just before the WW II ,the evening on June 1Oth only 6/7 Survivors
All is stayed in place since this day by order of the French Government,
A new village was built just in border.
During the visit I seen a lot of works of consolidation of the buildings
A Memorial at the Entry gives the information to understand the history
And does a parallel with the Other places of Massacres in the world.
The Simple Life
Perhaps during the visit the most impressive
We can some plaques with the Job,the name of the owner of the House
I seen a lot of Iron Tools again in place
All after the Massacre was burned by the barbarians
The church where The children and the women are dead.

After the soldiers killed the surviving peorsons and burned all
Technical:On the actual buiding of the Church I added a soldier in arm,
some big flames,and black soot
The only one Woman who has found again the Liberty
3 persons could jump threw the window of the Church
Only one Woman could have the time to find a hidden place
On the Wall you could see the Plaque with the Name of This Woman

In seeing from the road the rest of the Village ,I imagine the Children....

In the World there are a lot of Village or Town as ORADOUR, who lost its Population a Day
On the Market Place of Oradour there is a rest of a Car
It is the Doctor Car of Oradour.

And pasted many time the same victim on the walls.
Normally I think ,it was a machine gun the arm used for this Massacre
For the tones it was difficult,I preferred the red and BW.

We can see in the Village many rests of cars , in garage or outside
All the houses were burnt
Oradour 's Bell
Why a bell is so special?
And I was so sad... I think a bell is a sign of happiness ,of life .A village without this funny sound is sad,no rhythm of the day
After the Murder of the Children and the Women ,all the found combustible in the Village was used for the Burning of the Remains,the Temperature in the Church was so hot that the bell was melded....
