Walking around "LAC du DER" in CHAMPAGNE

An important step in the long trip of the birds to the south in winter ,
This Lake is a treasure for the ornithologists and the photographers.
The Cranes often were till 50 000 ,they find food and safety.
The Spectacle is always fantastic in the morning and the evening
I went 2 times in 2009 and 2010.

There were not only Birds as you will see....

Beautiful gallery Bernard! I don't have much chance to interact with the natural world, but you have inspired me to think about doing a gallery about a feral cat colony living on my estate (on which colony I spend ever increasing amounts of money to keep alive ;-).
