Seeing things in the beauty of bark

The first time my eyes came to rest on the native trees of Australia, I was in awe by the sheer beauty of its shape of trunk and twisting branches, the fragrance of its leaves, the browns and greys of lifting bark, and the exposed under-belly with its different hues and texture.
In this gallery I like to share, the inspiration I drew from simply stopping and taking a closer look at the world of trees and in this case the artistry of bark.
