Dredger April Hamer can't keep up with it anymore.

It's a year later and in today's newspaper "The Age" of March 15, the headline reads "Fishermen alarmed as sand closes Entrance port".
In 40 years Peter Clarke as a fisherman at Lakes Entrance, he has been always able to move his trawlers through the port and into the ocean. That is, until a few days ago.
On Saturday night his son Stuart managed to get his fishing boat out of Lakes Entrance and back again.
His boat was one of the last. A massive build-up has closed the port since Monday morning.None of the 50-boat fleet has been able to move into the ocean because of the high sand mark.

I have never seen that kind of dredger at work. The spout of gray water looks like an oil well gusher. The noise must be deafening. Strikes me as odd that the sandy water seems to be returning right back into the water. I'm used to seeing barges collect the dredge. It's a very dramatic image.
