H. F. DuPont created magnificent gardens on his "Country Estate," Winterthur. These include thousands of "Glory of the Snow"...Chionodoxa Lucilliae, and Siberian Squill...Scilla Siberica, all of which blanket the hillsides in late March in a stunning display of lush color. Here and there were the early daffodil, all of which should be emerging in the next couple of weeks, to be followed later in spring by the azalea gardens. This is a not-to-be-missed treasure located within a drive of less than an hour from most parts of the Delaware Valley. We did it and we enjoyed it immensely.
