Taken on the plateau between Lhasa and Namtso.
Three German travellers and I rented a car and
driver for the day with the goal of going to Namtso,
the highest salt water lake in the world
at an elevation of approximately 5000 meters.
I asked the driver to pull over several times so
that I could take photos of the nomadic yak herders.
They were very friendly (the yak herders, not the Germans).
