M42 - The Great Orion Nebula

Skunk Hollow Observatory

M42 - The Great Orion Nebula (Stellarvue SV66ED). Shot using a Stellarvue SV66ED piggybacked on top of a SuperCharged Meade LX200 10" with a SBIG ST-2000XM. 40 minutes (8 x 5 minutes) luminance at 1x1 binned. RGB (5:5:5) at 1x1 binned for each channel. Completely automated acquisition using CCD Commander & MaxIm. Dark frames and flat field frames applied. Self guided by SBIG ST-2000XM. Aligned and combined in CCDSoft. Applied light DDP in AstroArt. Final processing done in Adobe Photoshop.

These are all great shots. This looks could be the flower nebula.
