This incredibly beautiful 8-mile roundtrip hike is one of the most demanding hikes I've undertaken in over 20 years (especially with 30 lbs of extra gear on my back!) And though the two falls that precede Virgin Falls on the trail were nonexistent due to no water, Virgin Falls rewarded us with glorious visions and welcomed coolness at the halfway point of our difficult journey.
