This storm hovered in the western mountains of the Las Vegas Valley as I watched from my back patio, 20 miles away. The "strip" is right in the middle 10 miles from me. It was mesmerizing to see the clouds, torrential rains, and even some lightening, all back-lit by the evening sun. Didn't get any rain with this storm, but got slammed today with heavy, fast rains, and flash-flooding all over the city the very next day. BTW, hardly any edits on this image - just a bit of sharpening and minor tweaking of shadows and highlights.
