I'm most drawn to this one as well. The overall feeling of the unknown is very strong because of the emphasis on the eyes and, as Phil says, the diminished detail in the rest of the image. My imagination can run away with this one.

Thank you all so much ... the accidental glimpse of my eyes in my rear-view mirror inspired me to try to capture this. By holding the camera behind me and over my right shoulder, I captured the de-focused image in the mirror, which was unexpected, but which I liked. The post-production work was done to negate the distracting scene through the windshield and create a more abstract portrait - leaving the "story" to the viewer.
Carol is right -- this is the strongest image because it is the most abstract -- both the bottom and top halves of the frame are equally diminished in detail, removing the context of the car almost entirely, and changing the image to a dismembered face -- the soft eyes on top, and a multiplicity of mouths below it. It is like a silent scream.
