The beginning of a "new" (delayed from childhood) artistic direction as I return full-circle to where I began as a young girl, painting and drawing every day. Photography has, without a doubt, helped build a strong visual foundation in artistic composition that has stretched me to new heights in my forays into mixed-media work and now into abstract paintings.
