Thanks for posting these. I have been looking at the Minolta because of the good reviews. The pictures are much better than the HP Photosmart scanner - low noise in the dark areas, etc. I agree that the digital pix look better - there seems to be a color balance problem with a definite purple hue and also the focus does not seem sharp. I selected "original" for image size and objects seem blurry. Once again, thanks for sharing.
