Posted in this gallery now is a partial sequence of the total eclipse as seen from a burned out ridge near the Rainbow Falls in the U.S. Smoky Mountains National Park. From prior to the start to the point when the sun took back lighting our earth. I used several cameras during this shoot to catch the light at this ridge as the eclipse progressed and have inserted them in the proper sequence of the moon passing between us and the sun. Hopefully these few photos from the entire sequences given the viewer a honest perspective on what went on above us and around us.
If there was a question of mankind having a higher power guiding us and that life is by chance this event should humble all as it did our ancestors once thought the sun was being eaten by a giant frog.
