As you can see the Winter pool level at BeauxPoint is fast approaching. Now that the lake level is about 10 feet down with just a few more feet before real Winter pool; it is time to clean the beaches of those bottles, cans, old lures and trash the fisher people have thought disappeared when sunk while they were fishing. Just one of the many treats the so called sports people leave for the landowners to clean-up....(I'm not forgetting skiers and other boaters so inhale bassmaster club member.)

The real good thing about Winter pool is the chore of repairing docks, walkways can be done on dry land and any tools dropped are easily recovered without getting wet. Plus establishing fish nesting sites and fish structures can also be repaired that the currents and curious people have damaged during the Spring and Summer months. As the photo indicated a lot of work happens during the Winter months on the shoreline or at least until the Winter rain floods begin. Needless to say the fishing is also good this time of year since there is less territory for the fish to swim and hide from those pesky fisher persons.
